The first quarter was a defensive stalemate with Parker and Lee trading turnovers and both offenses struggling to move the ball. Lee was finally able to put points on the board in the 2nd quarter when they marched the ball down the field and punch it in with a Tony Belle run out of the wildcat. Jordan Bell was successful on the point after attempt making it 7-0 Generals. Neither team was able to put anymore points on the board before half.
After halftime the Generals again were able to move the ball down the field scoring on a pass from Sophomore Quarterback Isaiah Dunning to his favorite target Devin Mitchell, however the point after attempt sailed left leaving the score 13-0 Generals.
Parker wasn't out of the game yet though as the Braves were able to move the ball down the field closing the game to 13-8. Again the offenses failed to move the ball, with Parker limiting themselves with several offensive penalties.
With only a few minutes remaining in the game the Braves turned to trickery as they pulled a double pass out of their playbook scoring a touchdown to take the lead 14-13. With under two minutes to play in the game Parker attempted an onside kick to prevent weapons Devin Mitchell and Tony Belle from returning the ball, which was recovered by Generals lineman Curtis Rainey. The Generals again started moving the ball down the field with quick timing routes through the air. However, the Generals came up short when Quarterback Isaiah Dunning was picked off. Parker was then able to down the ball and run out the clock.
